Financial Blog Seminar

In Tuesday January 29, 2009 my friend told me that tomorrow there is seminar of Raising Financial for Teacher, Lecturer, and Student in University Centre (UC) of Gadjah Mada University. January 29, 2009 I went to UC in the morning. At eight o’clock the MC opened the seminar by praying. And than Mr Adiwarman and Chief of Yogyakarta Education Council gave their opening speech. The speaker not yet came and than the MC announce the money that he found and ask the audience some quiz and gave the give directly for who can answer the quiz.

An 10.00 the seminar was started with Mr. Ridwan Sanjaya as speaker and Mr. Didi Ahjari as keynote speaker. First, Mr. Ridwan Sanjaya gave his presentation about internet and blog. Second, he gave his presentation about Google Ad sense. At the beginning of his seminar Mr. Ridwan ask the audience who don’t know internet and blog. But nobody claimed that he/she is not yet understand internet and blog. The result Mr. Ridwan assumed that all audience was understand internet and blog. In this seminar Mr. Ridwan told us that he had a student his name is William Susanto. William dropped out because of his financial problem. Because he joined Google Ad sense he went to campus again with his money from Google.

I think Google Ad sense is a product promotion in the blog. The blogger can earn money from company who promote his product in blog. At the beginning Google accepted the blogger who want to join the Google Ad sense, but after too many blogger who wanted to join the Google Ad Sense, Google became more selective. In the Google Ad sense the blogger can choose two type of promotion. First, the point of blog can raise after somebody purchase. Second, the point can raise after somebody click the promotion button.

Every blogger who apply the Google Ad sense wanted Google accept his/her application. There are some point that should be pointed by the blogger. First, many of company who promote his product by Google Ad sense is from outside Indonesia, so use English for your blog. Second, Google must put suitable blog for his client company. For example Google has computer company, Google must search for computer blog for promote the computer company. So chose the topic that you understand and popular. Third, Google will search your blog if your blog in the first page on Google search. You can raise your position by write your blog frequently. Fourth, Google will put your blog if many people read your blog. You can write your blog in your name card or ask your friend to go to your blog. Fifth, Google will put your blog if your blog linked to another blog or website

If your point is over $100, so Google will send you a check. They can send check by post or DHL. DHL is faster than post. If by post it’s free. But if you want they by DHL you must pay $35. you can clear this check in Citibank, Mandiri, or Niaga. In Citibank you mist pay Rp 100.000. But if you clear your check in another bank it can be Rp. 350.000.

This seminar is for theacher, lecturer, and student. In Education world there are a lot of knowledge and story that will never end in your blog. If by sharing knowledge you can earn money, why not…..
